"I met Carly about one year before she helped me close on my new house, when I was just in the beginning stages of pursuing home ownership. As a first-time homebuyer, I felt overwhelmed by the process and the many questions I had about what steps to take to make this dream of mine a reality. Carly took the time to ask me questions not just about the kind of house I was looking for and where I was in the process of buying a home, but about my goals and vision for the future. She shared openly about her approach to her work as a realtor, explaining how she sees her job as a matchmaker of sorts, connecting people with homes. When I saw the listing for the home I now own, Carly was in contact with the agent to schedule a showing the same day it went on the market. She walked me through the initial contract, managed multiple negotiations with the sellers on my behalf like a pro, showed up at the house for the showing, inspection, and final walk-through, and followed up on every item on my checklist from day one until closing. Carly consistently provided me with information about what to expect and talked me through options and potential outcomes so that I had not just a plan, but a Plan A, Plan B, and sometimes a Plan C. If urgent action was needed, Carly was on it. She responded promptly to all my texts, emails, and phone calls, and then immediately followed up and coordinated with the other parties involved. Whenever I had to make a decision about something, Carly gave me a timeframe for when my decision would be needed, but she never made me feel pressured or tried to persuade me one way or another. She repeatedly validated my personal decision-making process and encouraged me to lean into my own intuitive senses. During waiting periods, Carly would check in with me just to ask how I was feeling about everything. Knowing Carly had my back provided me with the support, guidance, information, and validation that I needed to confidently take action.
