Celebrating Black culture and African & Caribbean heritage, Asheville's Goombay Festival 2026 brings 3 days of live performances, art demonstrations, local vendors, food and drinks, and community activities — capped off with a 5k and a festival-closing parade. Music, culture, art, and community come together for one unforgettable weekend!

Guests are invited to an afternoon celebrating WNC's rich heritage through food, featuring a passport's worth of international dishes made by local friends and neighbors. Proceeds support Pisgah Legal Services' Justice For All Program, offering free legal aid to immigrants across 18 WNC counties. Tickets: $40 in advance, $45 at the door.

BLUE RIDGE PRIDE FESTIVAL

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED SEPTEMBER 26TH

It takes a village to pull off Asheville's largest single-day event! Organizers are gearing up to celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community across Western North Carolina on September 26th in Pack Square Park, and volunteers are needed to help make it happen. Sign up to lend a hand — whether that's setup, check-in, crowd support, or wherever help is needed most. All volunteers must complete Crowd Management Certification before the event.

RADish Fest is bringing the River Arts District to life for one epic day! Enjoy live music on the Grey Eagle stages, immersive art installations, live painting, comedy, and unexpected creative magic.
