Asheville Greek Festival September 23-25, 2016.

The annual Greek Festival will take place September 23-25, 2016 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Asheville at 227 Cumberland Avenue in the Historic Montford District.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the food and festivities. Traditional foods will be available including lamb shank, pastichio, spanakopita, gyro and souvlaki, baklava and other pastries. Follow up a delicious meal with some imported Greek wine or a cup of Greek coffee. Food prices will range from $1 - $17, and take out is available.

Browse through the agora (marketplace), take a tour of the church to learn of its rich history and architecture, or enjoy one of many other activities taking place throughout the festival including traditional Greek folk dancing, cooking classes, jewelry and other crafts.
