Outside of my work, I'm usually racing to keep up with my beautiful spouse and our four kids as we explore these ancient mountains and actively engage in our community. In between family dinner and morning carpool, I am either dreaming up my next meal to cook, reading, practicing yoga, hiking in the woods by moonlight, or just sitting quietly feeling grateful.

After more than 20 years living and working here, I know and care about the people and places that make Western North Carolina so special. That knowledge compels me to give back and serve as a volunteer at Four Seasons Hospice and as the board chair of FernLeaf Community Charter School.

In my work at Town and Mountain Realty, helping both medical professionals relocate as well as buyer and seller clients from outside of the healthcare sphere, I am committed to listening deeply and advising clients through the complex process of buying or selling property. My focus is to help clients create a meaningful plan that is workable despite the inevitable challenges that arise. It is a natural extension of my previous work as a physical therapist, and as a leader and program developer in local nonprofits.
