I love having the opportunity to share that with them. The sellers who have so many memories in a house where their family grew up and watching the smile on their face when they recall the stories they are telling you, while you are learning the history of it. That's what it's all about for me. 

I have owned a few businesses throughout my life's journey, a hair shop, a general store, and my own real estate company in Michigan. So before I started my real estate career in Florida, I wanted to not run a business for a while after the first two businesses. My son, who was watching me clean a mall for a living at that time, told me about the local college in Ocala Florida where they were offering real estate classes. He encouraged me to get my real estate license. I loved looking at houses so it was a perfect fit for me. I worked in Florida for 5 years, then moved back to Michigan and started my own office. I did that successfully for 10 years.

As we grow older, we realize what is important in life. To me it is family. I missed my son and his wife, and my beautiful granddaughter. So I sold my house, shut down my office, and moved to Asheville. I am with my family, loving what I do for a living, and enjoying the prettiest place to live.
