Mom, wife, runner, business owner. I wear a lot of hats. But, as part owner of two businesses related to real estate: a land development company and Beach Hensley Homes — a local company building sensibly crafted, green, urban infill homes; I've always gravitated toward studying house plans, design web sites and local real estate listings — so adding real estate brokerage to my curriculum vitae is a natural fit.

My husband and I are parents of an adorable and somewhat precocious toddler along with two furry critters –– an elderly Labrador who is still a puppy after 14 years and a stubborn grey tabby cat whom we rescued as a kitten and still has yet to warm up to us, 13 years later. In my free time, I run with the Maggots — a local running group, logging miles mostly on pavement but sneak off to explore WNC's beautiful trails as often as possible [and via two wheels on my mountain bike when I'm really lucky]. I completed my first Boston marathon in 2015 and am a repeat Shut In finisher –– my all-time favorite running event.

I've lived in Asheville longer than anywhere else and warmly call it and WNC home; but, am very grateful for my roots in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and always will be a diehard UVA Cavalier at heart –– WaHooWa!. I started out my years in NC on the coast attending UNCW, but shortly after meeting my husband Beach –– an Asheville local, I quickly realized it was time to make the trek back to the mountains and finished college with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from UNCA –– Go Bulldogs! After dabbling in the world of advertising, I decided to focus my attention on building our business and family and haven't looked back. I truly have a passion for creating beautiful spaces within our community and get excited every time a client finds that perfect something that is easy to love because it is uniquely theirs.
