Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL returns to Pack Square Park in Downtown Asheville for Labor Day Weekend— completely FREE. Now in its 3rd year, the festival celebrates Asheville's culture and history through live music, storytelling, art, heritage exhibits, and architecture trail tours, with interactive workshops for all ages. Highlights include Asheville Symphony in The Park & The Big Secret on Sunday, September 6th, as the community gathers to honor Asheville's past while celebrating its present.

Volunteers help keep the festival safe, welcoming, and running smoothly — greeting guests, answering questions, assisting with setup and breakdown, supporting vendors, managing lines and seating, and keeping the grounds clean throughout the event.
