What's Good in the Hood - Asheville March 17 2023

Our recommendations of how to spend the holiday weekend ahead!

Jack of the Wood's long-running Traditional Irish Music Session is a perfect opportunity to enjoy talented pluckers from all over WNC + abroad! Especially on St. Patrick’s Day! Stop in for music, traditional Irish fare + a pint or afternoon Irish coffee! Friday at 12pm, and Sunday at 3:30pm (with other great musical acts throughout the weekend!) Slaínte!

Eldr Restaurant is a new restaurant serving breakfast, lunch + dinner in a century-old cottage nestled amid the trees in historic Grovewood Village. Eldr is Old Norse for “fire”, which is fitting, because the restaurant relies on a wood-fired oven for many of its dishes.

Olde London Road Pub is an English style pub located in the heart of the RAD. It's a cozy environment complete with 7 TVs ( for every soccer match you want to see!), 16 taps + an assortment of bottles + cans with a full liquor bar!

St. Pawtrick's Day with Mountain Pet Rescue! Green beer, green cocktail specials, and festive photo opportunities with St. Patrick’s Day photo props + photo booth. Mountain Pet Rescue will also be on site with adoptable pups during this event! Friday 5-9PM at Down Dog Yoga and Dog Bar.

Vintage Market Days of Asheville presents "Good Vibes"! Get ready to leave with arms and trunks FULL! Their largest event yet featuring over 125 of the very best vintage, boutique, yummy, and unique vendors! Friday & Saturday starting at 9am at the WNC Ag Center.
