ASHEVILLE -- An ABC News team with "Good Morning America" will join a Candler man Wednesday on a tour of Asheville for a segment on the "10 Most Beautiful Places in America."

Alan Ostmann submitted a photo to the morning talk show last month to nominate Asheville as one of the "Most Beautiful" spots.

Ostmann, an avid nature photographer, said he will show the crew one of his favorite spots along the parkway overlooking Hominy Valley and take them on a tour of Asheville's "beautiful, eclectic downtown."

"I've been to Italy, Ireland, Moscow and seen so much natural beauty," Ostmann said. "But there is no other place like this. The nature is just so rich and the mountains are like nowhere else I've ever seen. Every day I see something new here."

GMA producer Natasha Singh, who confirmed Asheville's win in an email, didn't tell Ostmann when the segment would air.
