8/1/2010 - WNC Magazine Asheville Wine & Food Festival partners with Young Transportation, area hotels

The WNC Magazine Asheville Wine & Food Festival Grand Tasting, planned for 1-5 p.m. Aug. 14, announces local partnerships to provide transportation and accommodations for the attendees of the 2010 Grand Tasting.
Young Transportation has come on board as the official WNC Magazine Asheville Wine & Food Festival transportation sponsor, offering complimentary shuttle service from downtown Asheville to the WNC Agricultural Center, adjacent to the Asheville Regional Airport.
The shuttle will run continuously from Battery Park Book Exchange and Champagne Bar, 1 Battery Square, to and from the Expo Center. The first bus will depart at 12:30 p.m. and will run hourly until 7 p.m. People will be able to park in one of the downtown parking decks and take advantage of free transportation.
Hilton Hotel Asheville Biltmore Park and Hotel Indigo Asheville Downtown have been named the official hotel partners of this year's festival. Hilton will offer a that includes shuttle service, tickets to the Grand Tasting, deluxe overnight accommodations, and a champagne brunch on Sunday ($189 plus tax for two). Hotel Indigo has rates that start at $165 plus tax and is located just one block from the downtown shuttle stop at the Battery Park Book Exchange and Champagne Bar.
