3/9/2007 - Work Starts On Fletcher Housing

Flether- Work is beginning on a 168-unit affordable housing proect on the south side of town. Brickton Village, on 12 acres on Old Hendersonville Road east of U.S. 25, will contsist of one-,two- and three-bedroom condominiums with prices starting at 94,900. "Our objective is to deliver high-quality, attractively designed homes, as part of an aesthetically pleasing community at an affordable price," said Rod Hubbard, whose Asheville-based RJH Development is developing Bricton Village. "These homes are affordable to teachers, police officers, nurses, retirees, as well as other moderate-income workers."
